Susan Silva

As an administrative assistant for over 15 years Susan Silva decided to build a website. Like many who want to do business on the web, she instantly thought ecommerce. For weeks she racked her brain trying to come up with something original. Finally, she came to the conclusion there were too many ecommerce sites out there and put her ideas of creating her little niche on the web aside. Then one day at work in 1999 she had a project and while working at someone else's opened up the web and went to the bookmarks. This computer had the same links she had at her desk. The light bulb went off and few months later she created AdminProf.com.

In 2005, AdminProf.com merged with the United Kindgom's DeskDemon and Susan accepted the job as editor. Susan is currently the managing editor of DeskDemon. Her goal continues to be providing the best news, resources and information to enhance and further the career of administrative professionals worldwide.
